Chapter 4 Mathematics blues

I realize now that why the learners hate mathematics.
I will give u an interesting dialogue:
Myself: What do you add up from 4 to 6?
Learner: It is what u add.
Myself: 1x1
Learner:11
Myself: Why?
Learner: because  I removed x
Myself: PxP
Learner: Hold it there sir:P is not a number
                 How can u count alphabets.
Myself:    PxP= p squared
Learner: Am I wrong when I say pp because what is common there is p.
Actually, x was not supposed  to be  there.
Myself:  Draw a bus 10cm length 5cm.Count
2cm from your right and put a vertical line.
Learner: Sir,while you were giving us those measurements my bus left.My mind is on that  bus,my body is here.
Myself: Bring back that bus.
Learner: I have to  talk to the bus driver and he have to talk to  the bus company
of which he can be dismissed.
I don't have the salary to pay him.
Myself: You see,u are wasting my time
Learner:Am I ?
Myself: Is your head right?
