Living in a complicated country

We are different tribes. The same word in a certain language  may  cause discomfort  to another language  even resulting being kicked or clapped by the other  where  you wouldn't  even be aware.

If you greet in SeSotho you say: Dumela ( pronounced  as Doo mare la as ~lo.ve in love.

In Zulu Dumela means Attack. It means you can be attacked  at any time not even not aware.

In Xhosa. If you say you have forgotten  something  you say Ndilibele pronounced  as Dee Le bare la as.lack.

In.SiSwati means you are a fool.

One day a Xhosa.Teacher.use ndilibele to give you the  maths home work. The children  clapped and dance with laughter. The teacher asked what is funny.about that,?If ndilibele, ndilibele. The learners  were more  rowdy.

The teacher called me and explained what has happened.I explained to him the meaning of the word in SiSwati and Xhosa.I have to  calm  explain and come the learners.

As a Zulu Speaker, unintentionally  my maths had a problem   in factorization  and I use  the word ingwadla.Prounanced as  E.in English qua dla  as chlamydospores  dl pronounced  as chla.

In SiSwati means a prostitute

I explained  and they understood.
